AutoForst develops innovative automation solutions along the entire timber value chain to combat the shortage of skilled labour, Increase occupational safety, reduce emissions and ensure end-to-end traceability of timber resources. The focus is on the use and integration of key technologies such as artificial intelligence, image processing and sensor technology. These are tested in combination with automated systems such as drones, cranes and lorries under real forestry operating conditions and further developed with industry partners into practical, scalable and sustainable solutions.
